Holly Springs High School is located in Holly Springs, MS and is one of 3 high schools in Holly Springs School District. It is a public school that serves 462 students in grades 9-12.

Holly Springs High School made AYP in 2010. Under No Child Left Behind, a school makes Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) if it achieves the minimum levels of improvement determined by the state of Mississippi in terms of student performance and other accountability measures.



The seven labels given to schools and districts by MDE from lowest to highest are Failing, At-Risk of Failing, Low Performing, Academic Watch, Successful, High Performing and Star. Three factors can determine the label for a district and school – individual student achievement, growth, and the graduation rate, if applicable.


Holly Springs High School, under the leadership of principal Cedric Richardson...received the prestigious title of High Performing.
